ADHERENCE TO REGULATIONS AND CODES OF PRACTICE
During production the producer will need to comply to regulations. If not they could face a fine or risk the entire project being shut down.
For example, when producers are creating a video game they will have an idea for an age rating. They will need to comply to the content descriptors present within that age label in order to adhere to codes and regulations
This creates an overall better production that is legal and simple and also avoids financial consequences that could disrupt the project.
