STORYBOARDS are a main page mockup for video as they illustrate the course of the video. They are very important and they provide a plan for the cast and crew to make a shoot easier.

For WEBSITES, templates are designed so that people can use so they don't have to start from scratch and these templates will have been sketched before to visualise the layout
MAGAZINES
Page mock ups are also very important in creating MAGAZINES. Sketches will be used to plan out the front cover and to organise the layout for articles within magazines.
FILM POSTERS
Another print example where mockups are used are FILM POSTERS. They will be planned out by being sketched to allow the graphic designers to easily create the poster.
