This is extremely important in all platforms of digital media as it allows the producers to make their production more effective and easier.
An example of when this is hugely relevant is the use of audio. Sound needs to be taken into consideration when filming. What are the potential complications? What does the shot demand This will require careful planning around where video will be shot, when it will be shot and the equipment needed for that. E.G a professional boom operator.
