ESTABLISHING FEASIBILITY
When going through pre-production stages, decisions that are made need to be realistic. Making sure everything is feasible before production will make the whole thing smoother and simpler.
An example of something that could be considered unfeasible is filming in a very noisy area and only using a built in camera microphone. The sound would be drowned out and the actors would not be able to be heard.
During pre-production, producers will realise that a location like that would be noisy so would take a boom microphone with them to easily pick up sound.
