So, auditing compliance is making sure you adhere to the set budget of your production. This is extremely important as if you go over your budget when planning then it may be very difficult to obtain money to pay for it.
CASE STUDY
The 1975 blockbuster 'Jaws', directed by Stephen Spielberg, spent over twice it's planned budget. Cast and crew had to chip in for funding including Spielberg who contributed $3000 of his own money because universal would not fund the project at that point.
If budget is not stuck by during production the film and the team could suffer financially and will not produce the media text the envisioned.
